Halcyon Conservation was set up by Stefan Strittmatter, to offer a skilled and dedicated service to institutions and private collections/clients in north of England. Stefan has over a decade’s worth of qualified experience and has worked on some of the highest profile and challenging collections all over the world, including the Al sabbah Islamic metalwork collection in Kuwait, and Scott and Shackleton's historic huts in Antarctica.

Since its establishment, Halcyon Conservation is proud to have developed a client list that includes, The Royal Armouries, The Yorkshire Sculpture Park, The Arts Council, Manchester City Council, Chatsworth House etc.

As a small specialist service, we aim, not only to provide the most ethically accurate and highly skilled work, but to also try and provide it at a cost which makes conservation work a reality for small collections/institutions.
